Tina is a passionate and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist who lives in the Netherlands with her husband and two young children. With over 15 years of experience in the field of neurological and motor development and disorders in babies and young children, Tina has always loved helping people and discovered her passion for working with babies during her occupational therapy studies.
After graduating in 2007, Tina worked in a school for children with special needs before joining the Paediatric Rehabilitation Department at the University Rehabilitation Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She completed her specialisation in neurodevelopmental treatment in 2009 (Paediatric Bobath) and in 2023 (Baby Bobath). She has worked mainly with babies with neurological disorders and has given practical advice to their parents.
Over the years, Tina has noticed that many parents in the Netherlands have questions about their baby’s development and handling, as there is a general lack of such information and services. That’s why in 2023, she decided to focus her career on helping parents stimulate the healthy development of their babies. Tina started the BABY ON TRACK to make life easier for new parents by providing guidance, practical tips and advice. Tina feels fulfilled when she sees parents build a calm and confident connection with their baby through a variety of activities.
At the moment Tina offers individual home visits, but in the future she plans to open a center for individual training as well as group workshops. She currently works with parents in The Hague, Rotterdam, Delft, Leiden and Zoetermeer. She is passionate about helping as many parents as possible, so if you live elsewhere in the Netherlands, get in touch with Tina via the contact form below.
Tina also worked part-time as a paediatric occupational therapist in two developmental clinics for babies, providing therapy and training parents on how to properly handle and stimulate their babies. In 2015 she moved to the Netherlands and started working at the Basalt Rehabilitation Centre in Delft. There, she completed a Sensory Integration specialisation for children in 2019.
Tina’s passion for working with babies became even stronger after she became a mother to her son in 2019 and her daughter in 2021. As a qualified paediatric occupational therapist with a specialisation in neurodevelopmental treatment (Paediatric Bobath – 2009 and Baby Bobath – 2023) and Sensory Integration for children, she has extensive experience working with babies with neurological or genetic abnormalities, asymmetry, prematurity, muscle tone disorders or sensory disorders.
